Yay – Less Oww

My arm pain is better, thanks all for the good suggestions. I practised for about 20 minutes tonight, and it was alright. In some ways, it’s been good. Wait, wait – it makes sense, honest! As soon as I started tensing up there was a twinge of pain. It’s like Pavlov conditioning. I mean, I don’t want to be hurting forever, but it’s a handy little reminder for now.

It’s definitely getting better on its own, so I’m going to let it improve on its own and keep watch. If it stops getting better I promise I’ll go get it checked.

In other body-part news, I had my first Alexander Technique session today. Intriguing. I really like my practitioner person as well, which helps. I’m going to have to make a complete move to packed lunches to manage this financially, but I think it’s well worth it. I felt so much lighter when I left.

Besides, I love that I have the homework of lying on the floor everyday for 20 minutes.
