Happy Christmas to all three of you. I’ve been away from the cello for a couple of years, busy with a recorder consort, but every so often I get it out and try a few scales. And when I do I know it’s what I really want to be doing. Just a question of getting organised, finding a new teacher, fitting it all in. Retirement is on the horizon, so there’s hope yet. And if I can play a single octave C, G and D scale in tune now and then, try to avoid the worst of the squeaks and scratches from the bow, well there’s definitely hope.
So stick in there when you can, keep posting – it’s always good to read – and enjoy your little lad.
Rock on
Geoff
